We have to get replacements for a few BB 8330's that are broke in our office. Does anyone know if VZW will replace these units with new or refurb'd 8330's or is the 8530 it's replacement? A couple of the guys do not want the 8530 and the others do.... what a pain. Just trying to figure out what the story is. I tried contacting customer service, but didn't get any clear answers.

THere are variables here. If it is larger business and upgrades are available, then the person that is point of contact may want to contact the VZW rep that handles your company. If they are replaces, it will be with certified like new replacements
They usually keep refurbished units two years after the units are no longer sold. A unit like the 8330 for sure will be available for some time. My pearl flip is still available but replacements are not available in stores anymore just thru the mail.
