Anyone know of a application that is like Notepad? Looking for a link so I'll be able to download it to my computer and then transfer it onto my phone. Thanks in advance!

You might just need the .jad file.

I get a download error saying download failed. Then I click on details and it says "907 Invalid COD Unable to import ZIP file".

CobbFC09: the .jad/.cod files are for an OTA install. you point the bb browser to the .jad & the text inside the *.jad points to other files -- which are the .cod file(s).

but in your 1st post, you're looking for a way to install it via desktop manager. you need the .alx file & the .cod file for that. the .jad is for OTA only (if i recall correctly)

If you just have the .cod file, use BB SAK (Swiss Army Knife) and install the .cod file that way.

BTW BB Notepad is probably one of the best BB Apps you could use on your BB because it saves files on your storage card instead of on device memory. Sooo much better than memopad.
