For T-Mobile US, can anyone confirm that the UMA calls on 5.0.0.680 are clearer than they are on 5.0.0.656? I'm on .656 and LOVE it. Except for a lot of static on UMA calls suddenly for some reason. I don't want to go through the upgrade for JUST this reason if no one can confirm an improvement. I read one line about it in the .680 thread, but wanted to try to ask separately....

    Thanks in advance, y'all.

I can say this much... I was noticing when handing off from UMA to 3G, my data would stop working... full 3G signal, full bars, BB/BIS symbol active... but yet no data on 3G after having been on WiFi/UMA... could make voice calls, no problem...

it seemed like UMA calling was more stable on .586 (I has on .656 and .680 briefly, prior to downgrading to .586), but the data issue when going from UMA to 3G just got too much, as even emails weren't coming through... only waiting 30min to 1hr or more, or a batt pull, would resolve... unacceptable... so I'm back on .680 and things appear smooth... no data hangup when going from UMA to 3G, at least that seems to be rectified... can't yet comment on UMA call stability though... but I'll try to check that later today...

Thanks! If you can let me know what the call quality is like, that would be a huge help!

Hmm... can't comment on the .680 but my .656 sounds fine when on a call while using UMA.

I am still on .330 and works fantastic! And people complain about call quality with that OS...works perfect for me.

I'm running .680 now and I think that .586 had better UMA stability.
