I was just checking today my sales records in BB App World, when I noticed this one:

    Code:
    ThermoBMeter - Room Thermometer 1.2.7.0 02-Jun-2010 07:55:42 PM	_STATIC_NO_KEY_REQUIRED_	9800 6.0.0.0 AT&T en_US United States
So it seems someone with 9800 (AT&T) is shopping at BB App World

Could at&t have been testing this thing for awhile and have found away to keep it a very good secret the hardware looks great and for what CX the OS we saw in the video is know were near the latest release so that's a great sign that things could be close

Yeah it's probably testers, testing. Which means AT&T should be releasing it in 10-12 weeks and Sprint will hopefully get it 3 months after that!

Well, folks HAVE been saying that ATT was about to start field testing, it appears that field testing HAS just begun. A known ATT tester was expecting his unit any day now, so, perhaps signs ARE looking good.

EDIT: 10-12 weeks is optimistic, and OFTEN (like almost ALWAYS) goes longers, but hopefully not TOO much longer.

I extracted some records from our statistics. We are already seeing many downloads using 9800 from carriers all over the world.

Anyone knows what the R020 device is (last 5 entries)?

I'm taking a wild guess that the R020 is an LTE device, because the 9x00 series was HSPA and the 8x00 series was EDGE.

I'm more interested in the "SpuceWoodMMC" myself. why doesn't it have a number?

I do find it strange that RIM doesnt try to mask these devices in AppWorld since they know developers can see it. I've also see the "9700a" pop up in my reports a short while ago.

All good signs that the 9800 & 6.0 is moving along nicely. I suspect that the 9800 HAS gone to ATT field testing, perhaps a certain CBer's with the initials PG can confirm? But in any event, it's reason to be excited that things are moving along in a positive direction folks. NO there will probably not be a June release (did anyone honestly think there would be???), BUT things are looking up!

EDIT: Yes a certain German developer (some of my FAVORITE BB APPS!!!!) has made my a VERY happy man too. Or at least VERY cautiously optimistic.

RO2O?! What about R2D2? Sounds like RIM has a device beyond the 9xxx generation. LTE most likely. Sprint 4G maybe? Still want a BB10K.

Well.... Its not from testers guys for AT&T yet. The ONLY freaking app you can use on the 9800 so far is the BB APPWORLD.... for some reason it works, while all the others are shut down....

I'm sure once the other 9800 apps start working that's when field testing will start.

    Sorry
