    Hi,

There is a song that came with my Blackberry device called Fontainebleau. I hate the fact that when I put my media player on shuffle it always plays that song. I want to delete it but I can't. I tried deleting it as any other song, but whenever I have to restart my phone (battery pull) the file is back on my phone. Anybody been lucky deleting it from their BB?

I was sure I had it gone till I saw your post and checked.

I'll ask WillyBoy if he knows which cod govern's that and get back to you.

I just noticed I have this song again since I reloaded my OS. I just went to meda, music, all songs, and deleted it. It went away.

Running Willyboys hybrid on my bold for testing, removed Stewart Copeland music, battery pulled, the file was still gone after booting up. Wonder if your music might be in rom and sram.

It's always back after an OS update. I have no idea what cod controls that.

Did you just turn it off? Or did a battery pull?

I deleted mine, and turned it off, after turning it back on, it's totally gone. But after, doing a battery pull... Guess what, it came back.

After a battery pull its back. I used MaxMem to delete all the peloaded media. And it deleted everything BUT that stupid song.

Yeah, a hard-reboot always brings it back.

    Well it shouldn't be!

Also today I noticed another bug, when I get a MSN message it stops playing the current song! Sure it never did that before...

Well I tried deleting it again after a restart its gone but I didn't pull the batt. I guess I don't really care if its there or not as long as I can get rid of it from my all songs playlist! I'm happy now

I was going to load the new Willyboy hybrid tonight, before I do I'll try removing a few CODs to see if I can find it and what else it removes if I can find it.

Or just brick my phone, whatever comes first.

    Edit:
I got it off my phone for good. Its in the net_rim_bb_medialoader_ringtones cod file. Which also contains all the peloaded ringtones.

If you want it off bad enough, you can google "original blackberry ringtones" and find a zip of most of them. Then use BBSAK to delete the cod. You'll have to reconfigure any profiles that used a stock ringtone, but you'll be rid of that stupid song.
