If I had an unlocked AT&T 8820 could it be used on T-Mobile's UMA? Would the service book for it push down as it not carrier locked? Has anyone done this? I searched the forum but the only reference to it I found was from a long time ago before T-Mobile even had the 8820.

    Thanks!

To the OP, there are stories of it being done on models that are common in the TMO line, such as the 8820. Never tried it myself though

Mine worked well (ATT Branded, Unlocked on TMO). the only issue i experienced was with the handoff from UMA to cell would sometimes drop calls. a lot of searching, reading, and trial....
