Anyone install yet? .621 has been working like a champ for me and the last update I did on my Tour bricked my phone so I'm hesitant to try this until I hear its worth it.

OS is in fact very snappy. .692 seemed to improve battery life. I hope this one is around the same. Took about 3 service book resends to get my yahoo icon to come back, but it is there now so no biggie.

the one thing i dont like about loading ANY OS is that you have to re-download the latest version of bbm. that's annoying cuz then the phone has to reboot. oh well.

I wonder why a new OS so quickly? This has to be a record. I wonder if this OS will be on the Bolds shipped to VZW?

who cares why... I just like getting updates (as long as they don't cause more bugs of course! ).... maybe the vzw will be the first 5.0 OS to bust into the .7XX's... or maybe they'll release with .621 like Sprint... keep in mind if they are releasing soon (a BIG "if"), they'd already be loaded with whatever they were manufactured with at the time... a few weeks/months ago...

I noted on my upgrade to .699 under "Options>SMS Text> Right above the callback number is now a item named "Service Center" with my cell number beside it. Anyone know what that is all about.

Oh BTW Upgrade went well, I did notice after a cpl of battery pulls my battery stayed at 80%, normally after a cpl of reboots I lose 10% easily this time I lost nothing (woot)

I agree does seem much smoother.

Another question. Since I am on sprint I pulled the SIM card Since I am not leaving the US anytime soon is it really needed to have the sim card in??

taking out the SIM card doesn't affect the phone at all. i have done it with my storm and everything runs normally. i have verizon but im guessing its the same thing

Also I did notice (For Me) the volume is much better for both my speaker and bluetooth. I used to have to almost have them turned up all the way and now just 1 bar past halfway is more than loud enough.

    Anyone else notice this?
