A couple of friends said that a new update allows for Blackberrys to have bubble texting (like the iPhone). Has anyone else downloaded this update and where can one find it? Thanks!

There is a free app called Crunch SMS.
BlackBerry App World - crunchSMS

Looks just like iphone. As long as you don't mind checking your messages twice (in this app and in native app).

Also, if you get OS 5 installed on your device you can have threaded SMS like the iphone, but it's not "bubble" like.

firewall SMS texts and you will get only one notification in CrunchSMS.

OS5 (at least the version i'm on...see sig block) gives you bubble messaging. Whilst it doesn't look exactly like the iPhone (who would want it to ), it's threaded, and the conversation is displayed in speach bubbles
