note that not all system icons can be changed. which app are you trying to change?

you can try calendar and contacts app.

i was trying bbm also, calendar worked though, guess bbm is just one of the ones that can't be changed

do this

1 press the menu key in MB
2 select Advanced
3 select the app from the popup
4 select Install, after installed select the default checkbox or select your own icon
5 select Apply button

apps that can not be changed you need to goto the Advanced screen. if you find an app that you want to change and cant then send us the app and we will create an app template.

if you want the default themes then press the menu and then select Theme manager and install the theme you want and select apply.

Did that, created a new BBM icon, clicked on it, nothing opened.

you should be able too in the advanced.
after you installed the browser from the advanced screen you should see a new app _browser on the main screen in magicIcon. if you dont then exit the app and run it again.
to change _browser select it and then select Change Icon.

110% correct, Smiley. It worked. Ran into one last issue, then it will be perfect. I used the advanced method to download a shortcut to sms, only that takes me to my emails, and i already have a link for that. How can I fix this? My homescreen is looking awesome so far, and I want to complete it. I'll post a pic when I'm all done. this thing is cool!

which email are you using? i think the email short is coded for bb mail or messagener
