I was just looking at the members and out of the 213,000 there are. Only 34,000 have made a post. How come they sign up for the site if they're not going to post? I mean I'm in no way complaining I assure you that. But I'm just a curious person by nature, the forums are open to guests, so unless you have a question (which I assume would be indicated by having at least one post unless you PM someone and hope for a response) why would you join?
Some people only post in off topic, so those post don't count
toward post count.
A lot of folks stop in to pick up wallpaper, ringtones, themes and such.
Maybe they just want the crackberry.com email address or something. Or maybe they download wallpapers, ringtones or themes and want to shop at the store. All those things require registration.
I think this comment was made before and Kevin explained it well. A lot of users may do it to post in the blogs or submit ringtones/games/wallpapers and such.
We get a crackberry.com email address? Cool, I did not know that. On topic, some may sign up to be able to see the attachments. Nothings more annoying than reading a thread and you cant "see" what everyone is talking about.
