If the 9800 comes out aka slider / touch screen BB will you get one ?

I think its cool I will prolly get one .. I like having the option .. wonder if 6.0 will be smooth enough to make use of the 9800.

No I won't. I'll stick to my 9700, which hopefully should reach me this coming Wednesday.

If they come out with a pearl white clamshell qwerty 9670-or-something, I'll get it. Until then I love my 9700 and no one can pry it from my hands.

I love my 9700 but if the bold slider has the same efficiency WITH the touch screen? Why not make a jump and live a little. And only if it makes it over to T-Mobile, not going back to ATT ever!!

No. Aside from the iPhone I have no love for touchscreens. I have even less love
    for phones with moving parts.

By the time I'm available for my upgrade something better would be available. But I would love one.

I'll probably buy it to review it. Would I use it? Probably not, I'm not a fan of sliders or touchscreens.

well this is not a normal slider it has touch so I think that some would be more inclined to use it than the regular slider devices that have been on the market .. in past I am not a slider fan for that reason but having the touch part in there makes me more interested I guess ...

Nope. I'm not fond of touchscreens or silder phones. After more than a few months, a phone with movig parts tends to show a lot of wear on said parts.

I like all technology .. not just one or two types .. so I might
give it a try just to say I did lol

I will not leave my 9700 for the 9800. I would possibly for the Dakota, but if that's not released soon enough and OS6 and the Webkit browser are a bust, I'm definitely jumping ship for an Android device. I might make that move sooner if an Android phone comes out with UMA capability.

No way, I love my 9700. I had a slider in my pre-blackberry days and I hated it; I was always afraid of pushing up to hard and the top piece flying in the air. lol

I would never have a slider phone again. It had way to many problems. Mind you it wasn't a smart phone...but I am sure the shell is the same kind of thing. I agree with the above posters I won't have a phone with moving parts like a slider ever again Please I love my 9700. It is the best phone I have ever had.

No. I don't see the point, I like this phone. Why would I spend hundreds of dollars for a new ine that I don't even want?

I think I love my 9700 too much to let it go or maybe slider does not turn me on, so I would keep my 9700 for a little longer.

I'd rather have a touchscreen 9700. Like a palm pixi, only able to do more than one thing at a time
