I am helping my fiance with her Verizon Curve 8500 series. She just upgrade the OS and now the phone lock icon is gone. Is there another way to lock the phone where you just press * send key to unlock it? Or is there at least another simple lock feature that doesn't require a password?
If you hold down the play/pause key at the top and it will lock it. If you have a password enabled the you can press the alt button + enter to lock it that way.
