I assume it's $499 CAD. I find the price to be a little high in my opinion. It would cost around $478 here in the States. Not even the 9700 costs that much here in the States. The 9700 costs $449.99 retail or $129.99 discounted on TMO.
Price is pretty much spot on what the Curve2's are priced at currently at Canadian carriers. (give or take of course). I wonder if the C2's will drop a bit once the Pearl 3G actually drops?
Just a heads up, I was at a Rogers store in Kitchener and noticed they already had the 9100 on hand. Picture attached.
If this was at Fairview Park, then yes that's a dummy. I was there Thursday night and saw it. I was contemplating buying it as well, but I needed a phone so it was the 9700 for me.
It didn't come in their shipment this week from what I was told. Maybe next week it will be there?
Canadian BlackBerry devices are always more expensive.
No, especially with them delaying the 9700 OS update and the white 9700 itself....
Yeah... unfortunately, the last time I was in the store, that was what they
mentioned to me, the white 9700 and the OS update... although the OS
update does me no good with my curve.

I thought you were using the 9100 still...?

I'm picking one up today...i have a friend who is friends with someone who works at RIM. He has it and i am gonna go pick it up in a few hours.
I just hope it will work with Telus! If not i'm sure i can always sell it.
The pricing is kinda weird, on the Telus website it's $349. I think it was lower before that too, but they matched it with the 8530.

Telus sells it at $349, plus the big three used to sell the 9700 at 599 before -_- untill WIND came along.
