Evening folks - I've found out today the hard way my 9700 only rings once when in the holster, it keeps vibrating and is not diverting to orange answer phone or anything like that ...

I'm running .586
Ring tone volume at - 8
Play sound - always
LED - on
Vibration - on
Vibrate with tone - on

Is this a bug or am I missing something .. worth noting its fine out of the holster

So i am searching the forum for exactly this issue, and i find this post. I have similar issues with my 9700, fine out of holster, but when it is in, the device only rings and vibrates once (the vibration thing is less of an issue).

My settings are:

Vol 7
play sound always
LED on
Vibration custom
length medium
count once
vibrate always

So how do i sort this out? I have tried medium and loud, both of which have similar settings (apart from the volume) and they are all the same.

As always, help is much appreciated.

let me guess? Ringer_ClassicPhone? I had the same problem with previous OS builds with that exact ringtone. After I updated to .593 and now .656 I no longer have the issue...

Now all i need is either .593 (not currently available on Vodafone UK) or later, or to downgrade, or find another ring tone i can live with.

Is there a classic sounding ring tone i can download that is not Ringer_ClassicPhone?

I just downgraded back to .423. That fixed the issue.
