On your BB messenger when someone is typing a message and you look at your contact list, a little cloud appears above the smiley face to indicate that the person is typing.
What does it mean when there is that clock next to it?
*I know its not *unavailable* cause that is another icon, so what could it be?

the echo symbol means they are on the phone

I would guess it has something to do with "waiting", like waiting for a response from the other party. When I receive a message back from the person, the clock disappears.

To the best of my knowledge it means that your message has been received by their device but they haven't read it yet and are in an idol kind of mode.
