What new Blackberry release is next for T-Mobile?
- I was in a T-Mobile store, and they said that the white 9700 is coming up.
(so basically, they will have the 9700 and 8500 in both black and white?)
I really want the 9100 but I want to see what colors T-Mo is going to have
for me first before I buy anything.05-01-10 09:52 PMLike 0 -
- I have a black bold 9700 and I don't think they could release anything to overcome this phone soon...just IMO though...also like black better than white...

As far as new releases. The 9100 is rumored to be coming to T-Mobile, but is not even in testing phase yet.05-02-10 12:30 PMLike 0 - How do you know that Tmobile will not have the S2? I would guess that you are wrong since the UK has it, VZW's exclusivity is almost over, soon ATT and TMO will have the S2, ATT for sure05-02-10 01:44 PMLike 0

Also hope Tmo gets the iphone as well...

- I highly doubt TMO would choose to bring the iPhone onboard for the simple reason of network coverage. As much as I'm enjoying, and will keep the service, TMO 3G coverage is sadly lacking in comparison to the other 3 major US carriers. To bring a very popular and data-hungry device like the iPhone to such a limited network, would be suicide. I suspect the higher-ups know this as well...05-07-10 09:18 AMLike 0
- Data-Bandwidth and coverage are two totally separate and mostly unrelated things. T-Mobile will be upgrading 10,000 sites to 3G nationwide in 2010 and they are already getting the whip cracked on upgrading network data throughput(which is what AT&T was lacking on (Still is for the ratio of iPhones). The 9700 might be around until Q4 2010 before it sees a successor. The 9100 is a sure thing for T-Mobile and it's likely the next new phone release

I've LOVED T Mobile, I think their customer service is outstanding and I loved my Blackberrys. BUT, it's going to come time to upgrade my phone later this year and I'm unimpressed with the newer phones T Mo has and will have. An Android is also a consideration but I'm strongly leaning towards iPhone. I've had enough with the limited app storage on BB and the slow network on T Mo. Verizon is not an option because I think they'd suck my blood dry if they could get away with it.
This is just a personal thing so.......no negative comments please.05-12-10 04:16 PMLike 0 - After being a T Mo customer since 2001 and a BlackBerry user for almost 4 years, I'm seriously considering the switch to AT&T and an iPhone.

Your issues are with an outdated BlackBerry.
You would be SO much happier with a 8900 or 9700.
Apples and oranges in how they perform, also that fixes your app memory issue.
The 8320 has 64MB of app memory and the 8900 and 9700 have 256MB.
With the 8320 you you are stuck with OS 4.5 and no appworld support and support of many other things.
With an 8900 or 9700 you will get all of the advantages of running OS 5.0 on it, WORLDS better than what you are used to with OS 4.5.
I also can tell you truthfully, you will NOT like an iPhone or AT&T service, you WILL regret that move in a very short amount of time if you switched.
EDIT: I also want to mention, you aren't running the latest OS 4.5 release, the 8900 and 9700 both have way faster processors in them and your 8320 has only 2-channel edge, where the 8900 and 9700 have 8-channel edge, which is your slow network data speeds.Last edited by BlackBerry Brian; 05-12-10 at 04:45 PM.
