Yeah and why do people INSIST on calling it a Tour even though WES and RIM and SPRINT and VERIZON call it a BOLD?

I completely agree...Off of the pure principle that the 9650 SHOULD HAVE been what we had purchased last year...Then to just slap some more memory in, a trackpad, & a BOLD badge w/wifi, without a any sort of redesign to the look of the device is an insult to CDMA owners. They at the very LEAST could've given us the newer/smaller design of the 9700. Then to be informed 6.0OS won't operate efficiently for a device released last yr is a slap in the face. It's cool though, I'm going EVO...might be back later when RIM gets their act together. I'm hoping for their continued success.

I completely agree as well. I will hold on to my Tour, I'm thinking of giving the Storm 3 a shot whenever it's released. I'm also thinking of jumping to the Android platform, will see...

Personally, I'm going to keep calling it a Tour. Because that's what it is. The name change is a feeble attempt (by VWZ/Sprint/RIM) to appease the current Tour owners. It was bad management on all of their parts. I'm a Proud Tour Owner. But if this phone is 4G, I'll be all over it.

So, let's just go with it and call it a Bold. End of story.

This reminds me of when the Pearl 8130 (CDMA) had a different back from the original Pearl 8100. But when the CDMA Pearl came out, it was the top-of-the-line Pearl with added memory and an improved keyboard.

Welcome the BlackBerry Bold 9650 everybody.

BTW- I just got my Curve 8530 and will wait for the CDMA Pearl 3G
