I know this has been done and shown before but I figured I'd post my results as well.

I first did it in a red/orange color to match the interior lights of my car..







Then decided to change to blue since it matches the stock theme a little better..







I'm going to be doing a step by step write up on this in the coming weeks seeing as though I haven't found any online. So stay tuned!

I'd like to know how this hold up to use. To be frank, the Verizon 8830 originally came with blue lighting for its keys and it was very hard to read and I and others eventually replaced the keypad with a version that had white lighting. It may have been the version of blue used or maybe some of us had trouble with blue.

Color possibilities are pretty much endless!.

Like I said, I'm going to do a write up on it soon, but the look is achieved by filtering the l.e.d's that illuminate the keyboard with colored cellophane or polyester film.
