The Iplayer from the BBC works well on the bold but it will not work with the curve (apparently not compatable) this I cannot understand - Does anyone know how to make it work on the Curve

The BBC published the iPhone iPlayer app and so far, they have not seen fit to publish one for the BlackBerry. It would be nice if they did but the BBC does what the BBC wants.

Write to them and ask/complain to see if they have plans.

Really. Didn't know they'd released it. I just went to the site and it is a series of links which you can download or just put the address into your browser once you have used it once and then delete the link.

The link to go to on your phone's browser is BBC Mobile | BlackBerry Shortcut Applications'

The urls to go to on your phone are:
    iPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer/?hm=rimw4_v1_0
    News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/mobile?hm=rimw2_v1_0
    Sport: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/mobile/other_sports/snooker/8620811.stm

The 9700 (Bold 2) is supported so most likely yhe 8900 will work too since the screen is the same size.

    Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately the Iplayer doesn't work on the 8900:

Does: vuivision.com work on the 8900 or any of the other 2G Blackberry's.

I know it works on the 9000, but it's 3G

Try try links I posted. My 8900 is in for repair so I can't test it. I just tried with Mrs. Pete6's 8310 and it denied me access.
