Anyone out there thats been at this for a while that can tell me how long RIM usually takes for an update for Theme Studio after new devices are announced? I'd love to make my themes available for these new devices ASAP.

Im wondering this too, that's also why I asked if the anyone had any clue whether the 9630 or 9700 themes would be compatible.

When the 9630 was RELEASED (not announced) I think it was a week or two after that RIM released the patch for that series. But in most cases, it is after the release when RIM releases the Theme Builder Support.


9630 and 9700 and 8900 themes are all OS5 compatible, see no reason why new 480x360 screens wont be.

interestingly enough, i found that they already added the 9650 simulator for 5.0.0.621 last night.

I started this thread because I saw the simulator for download and got excited. However, I was disappointed when I couldn't find an update for Theme Studio.

download the 9100 simulator then laugh at the fact its the 8100 series plastics still in there!!! trackball an everything!! still OS5.0 on the right screen res tho, so not a issue, just v funny
