I up graded to the latest OS from Verizon 5.0.59 or what ever it is. My contacts are all messed up one of them got replicated 235 time and change everyone names around. I have Verizon back up assistant and Google sync... i backed up my contacts before upgrading but using restore function doesnt do anything. WTF! please help!!

Hi, from my experience with a carriers contact backup and google sync is that sometimes they don't play nice. What's worked for me is to use either google sync or your carriers backup. Don't use both.

If you choose to go this route and use only one of these options your going to have to go into the option you choose and do a duplicate contact search. Filter out the duplicates and reorganize your contacts.

Once you have done this, delete all of your contacts from your bb and re sync them with the backup that you chose.
