How dangerous is oil inside the BlackBerry's LCD? Or... how bad can it get?

I don't think you have to worry about it nuking the device because oil doesn't conduct electricity. However, I am not sure on what kind of effects it will have on the LCD.

How did you do that by the way, and do you think you can take the phone apart?
