Greetings fellow Droid-Addicts, this post is primarily directed to those running on Verizon, but, I would love to hear anyone's thoughts, I am currently running a Moto-Droid, my previous second half was a Storm 1, now the Storm was as dependable as they came, it never dropped calls, I couldn't tell you the last time I dropped a call on that phone, it just didn't happen, well now I am on a Droid and I'm dropping calls to the tune of 3-5 a day, is anyone else experiencing this on their Droid? or not? I am trying to figure out if it's the design or placement of the antenna or the phone itself.
thank you for any input fellas.
Hey there. I honestly haven't dropped a single call on my Droid. You can try to upgrade your roaming capabilities, by dialing *228 and selecting option #2. Also are you on Android 2.0.1 or 2.1? Reason I ask is that 2.1 had an updated baseband which should have increased signal strength even more.
