On BBM with an east coast VZ user now. No problem.

Try battery pull and restart, see if that helps.

Same here in Falls Church, VA. It only has 1X connection.

Well 1X means you still have data...


Most if not all severe outages always result in 1x or 1xev, or edge. And nothing works..


You just lost your high speed.. Not a outage so to speak.. Could have been tower issue in your area...

I understand the difference, it must have been something localized. It was 1xev before I did a pull and got 1X. Then 1XEV reappeared shortly thereafter.

I've been having issues in mid-Michigan area bouncing from 1x, 1X, 1XEV and 1xev. Been unable to use internet, bbm has been laggy and SMS hasn't been sending. Tried a couple of battery pulls.

Seems to be better for the moment. Was more likely a local vzw issue.

I hear you. Actually data access when out about very early this AM. I am doing a battery pull to see if it will help as I type this....

Yes the pull helped. back to 1xEV instead of 1xev.

Reception has become just a tad worse since the OS 5 upgrade for me.

update: did a reset (no battery pull: just L alt+ enter + delete) about 5 minutes after my post..service books appeared and messages are coming in regularly now...

im in pennsylvania near pittsburghand have no service at all... keep going back and forth from 3G to 1X to searching for CDMA

Mine has been down since sometime yesterday. I get no emails, can't do anything on Facebook. I'll try a battery pull.

No data here. Says 1xev. No email. Tried the web and got a message saying there is not enough network coverage to process my request. Rebooting now after battery pull. Hope it helps.
