I know what you mean GG1, I'm still happy with .545

I got a notification for this one earlier today, and thought some of our oriental friends might want to try it.

Even if the OS is pants, they can still make use of the latest East Asia files.

I haven't encountered any issues on 593 and battery is great so I think I will stick to it for a while. Wonder why you had bad battery on this build.

I would have to agree 9700/5.0.0.593 is running well for me as well.

The .593 did fair. Shazam didn't work, it was hard to connect on wifi, and gps lock took a long time. Plus, I would notice some freezing when I would transition to different screens. The .545 works well for me but am curious how this new one does.

Personally, I've been using the 593 for a few days and i have no complaints. Battery life is great and everything is running smooth. I haven't experienced any freezing yet and the blackberry browser is running much smoother than the 442 build I was using before. I'm sticking to this build until 6 comes out.

password lock works on .593

maybe ur just so impatient u never noticed there's a 20-30 sec timer for the password lock to set it. this is so if u click lock accidentally, u can get back in right away if needed.

anyone find any problems with this OS? quick boot time? no problem with 3g (t-mobile US) cuz i think its time for me to upgrade...i have .423 and boot time takes forever...3g has been a bit spotty...but still great battery life though
