I dont know if this is new or not , but i've just turned on my bold and saw the twitter app icon and when i clicked on it , it opened the download page for it !

so , its not a public beta anymore ?

I just downloaded the App too, through App World. It was on the "featured items" so it seems to be ready for the public. Definitely missing features and runs a little show at times, nothing a few updates can't fix. I like the "Official-ness" of it though. I may go back to Ubertwitter

No, it's still beta, as your screen shot shows (in the DL window). Just out for everyone now, for as with any company, you are their best beta testers.
