[BBM_GMBY]

Hi all,

I recently upgraded from the old Bold, to the 9700 (version 5.0.0.57 BBM)

When BBM-ing, I noticed that I was receiving the "new message alert" (sound and vib) for every single new message I received (something my old Bold never did), even though I was in session with that particular person. I actually only want the sound and vib for the first new message I receive, and once I am in the chat session, for no further alerts to occur as I am fully aware somebody has now messaged me!

After scouting through the www, it was mentioned that there is an option to disable notification whilst in chat sessions, however I have not been able to locate it at all!

Can anyone spread any light on this? Thank you in advance!!!

I am having an issue with this too! Can someone offer any suggestions? Sure would be nice not to have the ongoing distraction while trying to bang out a reply.
