I have seen a few post, on the backlight going out on the 9530.
I have the same problem, I have also seen that there has not been a response to this issue....
I am wondering, (since I cant find a backlight) Is the backlight and LCD sceen combined.....(I would think so).... but looking for confirmation.
If I just replace the actual LCD screen, would that fix the lighting issue...

(When phone is on, with a flashlight on the screen I can see colors and icons)

I assume that you mean that the screen is totally black/dark and not that it turns on then dims that can be re-"woken" up

I think you need to either take the phone to your carrier and get a total replacement or order a total LCD screen and replace it that way.
