2 people have working weatherbug and 3 do not. i assume all of you have weatherbug elite? i have it on both my and my wife's storm2s and am hesitant on upgrading the OS if it's going to break that app as we both use it a lot.
my maps quit as well after installing .607 and I am using the paid-for, Elite Weatherbug. Hoping that they will have a patch/fix for this soon. Bettermost, did you do anything in particular to get it up and running again?
I think you'll fine that the people using .145 don't have working maps. Those useing an older version have working maps. Does anyone know where to fine tan older version to download?
Here is what I found. When I download weatherbug from appworld I get version 1.0.0.873 and everything works fine. If I download from the weatherbug site I get version 1.1.0.144 and the maps do not work. So I think the people with working versions have the older version. I let weatherbug support know this as well.

i just looked in appworld, it says that the file version that you get from that is 1.1.0.144, does it indeed actually install 1.0.0.873 instead of the newer one even though it lists the newer file?
It does on my storm2 even when I look in the app menu under options it says its 144 but if I go to weatherbug and check the about tab its the older version. I can't figure it out.

I thought maybe the new OS was faster than a speeding bullit, more powerful than a locomotive...but in reality it just made some things not work properly. My battery drained at 2.5% while locked in holster with no activity. This is compared to the 517 hybrid that drains at .75-.85 at idle and 1.5 during moderate usage. My weatherbug map works again and everything is just as fast as the new OS. The browser works just as fast. Keyboard works great although must admit maybe not quite as well but the difference is really not much. The radio works the same in the fringe area I am in. Maybe better since this may have some bearing on battery difference. For those who like the new OS then great but it does have bugs.
My WB Elite Maps weren't showing either so I opened up Blackberry Maps and enabled the GPS. Once it found my location, I closed it down and then opened WB. The radar map then showed up. Don't know why but it seemed to work
