I have tried them all. Every leak, every official. If I was more confident installing a hybrid I would try one, but I am not sure how to do it exactly. I currently have 5.0.0.571, but am still finding a memory and battery drain. Not as much as .591, but it is still there. I think I am going to switch back to the official Sprint 484. I am on the Sprint network.

.591 by far.. 484 was overrated though. The only problem I've had with .591 is that on some websites it only shows half the page and the other half is white...

I downgraded to the 4.7 I didn't like the 5.0 very disappointed. Come march 2011 I might leave BB unless something better happens with RIM

Sprints .484 has been working very well for me.

I upgraded to VZW .519, but very quickly went back to .484.

I believe the majority of people who are complimenting .519 are people who are coming straight from 4.7, and are experiencing v5 for the first time. Because there is such a great improvement from 4.7, they are more inclined to accept and live with the bugs of .519, figuring it is VZW's official, so they will stick with it.

Believe me, once you try .484, you'll never go back.

Oh.... did I mention I'm with Verizon?

I will change my earlier response and this is why. I was having an awful awful time with 591 and the battery and memory were just being sucked away at such a fast rate. Last night I wiped my device and deleted the foursquare app that I have been trying out since I updated to 591. I noticed that even when I went back to 571 and 484 that the battery and memory drain were still VERY noticeable. I also removed a theme that I was trying out as well. Once I wiped the device with BBSAK and then reinstalled .591 I have not had any problems with memory loss or battery drain. For those of you that still are having these problems, try wiping the device, and also looking in to any apps you have running that are still in a beta stage. Many times apps in beta stage will drain battery and eat memory like Ms. Pacman.

I hope this is helpful to some.

Also, before I installed .591 to my device, since I am on Sprint, I deleted the PTT files, the Gmail files, and all verizon related files.

I charged my phone all night, and started using it at 8 this morning and I have been using it steadily and right now my memory is 106242560, and my battery is still at 100%. That is the truth.

I am very happy that this worked out this way. Happy Easter to all those who are celebrating!

I am so happy with this, I am reluctant to switch to driphter v8.2.

Either way, hybrids are the way to go.

How do you install a hybrid? I have 5.0.0.591 on there already. Do I then just install the hybrid over it? And which version goes best with .591. I really am not having any problems with this build since I did the above mentioned. Any suggestions or thoughts?

This is the most useful post I've seen in awhile!

.419 has issues with backlight response and sms sending/recieving from incorrect people.

    .484 works great

.519 browser click issues and MMS sounds randomly playing for no reason

I moved from .484 to .419 driphter v8.2 hybrid and I forgot I had problems with .419 SMS not receiving I would get the sound/light but the message wouldn't be in my inbox. I quickly reverted back to .484 and its bug free for me.
