I know we all just love the Facebook app.... but I have a question regarding backups.
Every time I do a new version or a wipe on my Blackberry and have to reinstall Facebook, I must re-associate certain names with contacts.
I was wondering if anyone knows how the Facebook app stores these associations (the "Facebook Name" field in the contacts menu). I'd like to be able to backup these associations so that I do not have to manually go through and find the missing associations with 300+ contacts... many of which don't have saved associations.
It will automatically associate contacts by name or phone number so if you just make sure you have their name in your contacts exactly as they have it on facebook it should take care of everything for you

Hasn't really been the case for me. Even though the names might match up exactly, there is something causing some not to associate (not more than 10%). However, when there's a lot of contacts, this definitely makes a difference..
