Just got word from my contact over at Big Red that they will be releasing New OS for the S2 on Monday. However it will not include PTT files?!? WTH NOT!!!

Yep - this is the date. VZW most likely wants to work out any bugs with the tour prior to releasing it on another device. Makse sence to me anyway.

Unfortunately, the new official OS they are posting is .607, which leaked a few days ago, and from my experience is terrible compared to SaskTel's official .517. Just sayin.

I haven't had One issue with .607 at all in fact i tend to think it's one of the better leaks we have had for the 9550 IMO anyway..

My main problem was the phone playing weird audio when I hung up a call. My phone would play the theme song to Titanic....weird. My wallpaper option doesn't work anymore. That I can deal with. We'll see.

when I upgraded to .607, it started out a little laggy and scrolled a bit choppy. But after a little use, its working nicely. No problems with apps or anything. Suretype fonts are a little smaller and words get oddly bolded out right before you hit space bar but thats about it. Everything else seems ok from my end

re : the BBM Groups kb issue, is it possible to just uninstall the version that is loaded with 607 and reinstall an older app world version?
