When I use Facebook from my phone and I, for example, send someone a message, it says- "sent using Facebook Mobile". My friends use their Bb's for the same thing and theirs say "sent using Facebook for Blackberry".

Why the difference and can how do I make it the latter rather than the former?

When you see "sent using Facebook for BlackBerry", they used the Facebook App, not the mobile site like you're doing.

I am using the app on my phone and not going through the browser.

The way the FB app works, I'd be embarassed if it said "Facebook for Blackberry". What a piece of garbage. I use m.facebook.com exclusively now.

I have tried the facebook app, Facebook for BB beta and do not like either. I mainly use the facebook mobile page. However, all my updates are done through twitterberry.

I have the app installed solely for the purpose of getting notifications. Otherwise it stays hidden in my apps folder.

i'm not a fan of facebook for blackberry either... sometimes there are glitches on the programming... when i log onto facebook mobile from my browser, there's a little message at the bottom that suggests i download facebook for blackberry for my 9700... i have a 9630...

i wouldn't be too concerned, at least it posts your message!

That message you see at that bottom to download facebook for your bb 9700 is simply a shortcut icon that is displayed on your homepage. It will take you directly to the site instead of opening the browser and then going to facebook. But now that I have QL I don't use it anymore.
