I Upgraded my Sprint 8530 to OS 5.0.0.459 this past Sunday. I am now noticing that the battery has been draining faster since the update. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, could you please help?

There seems to be a few threads on this, and it seems to be hit or miss as to people that experienced an increase in battery level and those who experienced a decrease, the only solution I can offer is to make sure no apps are continuously running that don't have to be, your backlight is @ 80 (or less) and that wifi and bt are turned off if not in use, and of course a battery pull never hurts your bb

If I notice it getting worse, I'll do a battery pull. I don't want to do it unless absolutely necessary because of the time involved and the fact it takes away 15% battery life.

i've been having major battery drainage since upgrading to vz's .508! not using the phone anymore than i used to, wifi is off, etc. Argh!

I did the update on Verizon. Battery seems to be draining faster, and performance has been unstable.
