    Hello, i want to install only 1 input language (only italian) on my 9700 and i don't want to install english input language.
    Which .cod should i remove before upgrading?
    I want to use english as device language and italian as input language.
    But if i don't remove english input language, the phone sometimes automatically switch to that input language.

    I would try by renaming the following files 1st :
    net_rim_tid_dynamic_ling_data_english_us_45k_2.cod
    net_rim_tid_dynamic_ling_data_english_us_ltr.cod
    and go from there...

    just those 2 files?

    Rename (just incase you need to rename them back )
    I would start with just those two first.
