The patch consists of 571/591/604 files


To install:

Download and install .517 for the 9550 .553 for the 9520

This hybrid is unshrunk, shrink out anything you do not want

Add the files from the patch to the java folder of the os you just downloaded and installed.

You can find the OS folders in X:/Program files/common files/research in motion/shared/loader files/(Your OS)

No patch, you can take the 604 files out of the java and add them. But as always I recommend the wipe and load.

OOAK, you are on fire!!

I love my .517/.591 hybrid though. Funny thing...my battery life was awesome at first. Then I put it on the USB to charge and now the battery drains so fast with the same usage I had before and drained 40% in 14 hours...

Does the charge from a USB really have that impact?

I only have the standard 4 apps open...

Also, for the past two hybrids I've done (497 & 591), I get the phone app, native browser app, and messages that are all open after I perform a battery pull and it boots up...

Does this happen to anyone else?

Does this mean we should wait for another upgrade from you??? Lastnight I downloaded and installed your .591 and so far it is the BEST feel, phone service, fastest running, more memory, O/S I have used! I had .320 until 2 weeks ago and upgraded to .517, then got really brave (in my eyes) and tried your .591 Hybrid. If battery life today holds up, I will be the happiest person around. What is better about the latest release? AND, should I just wait for your next Hybrid based on the .607? THANK YOU!
