    ok so im on the leaked firmware 5.0.0.517 and on occasion (it is getting more frequent) the red LED will blink as if i have a new item. one problem. THERE ISNT ONE. its starting to annoy me, and im wondering if theres a fix?

    Do you have a third party apps that give alerts (BerryWeather, WeatherBug, certain task programs, etc)? If you are really having a hard time finding a message, it might be a third party app with an alert.

    A twitter app, or a podcasting app ( such as podtrapper) will also cause your notification LED to blink.

    sure enough, as i went into friggin weatherbug, the crap went away. im probably gonna try to turn off notifications for it. thanks for the tip
