Verizon has started updating their website to support PTT. Check out links at the bottom. Not live yet, but it's getting there.

The software works on the new OS, just trying to find where to add the service online...it says you can do it on MyVerizon but I can't find it. Yet.

So how does this work though? It will only PTT to other BlackBerry Tours only?

I dont think anybody has it working yet or at least they aren't replying. I would imagine it will work with all VZW customers with PTT. I hope it's not just Tour users...

It will work with all vzw ptt customers, not just bb tour users!!!

thanks rhayes... did you get it working? I was thinking of upgrading to the tour if the PTT works well... The first gen storm seems to be getting worse by the day...

not yet, all my tour friends are sleeping so prob make it happen tomorrow once they do the update, i will post my experiences with it, specially for free trial!!!

I can test in the Am after 7am eastern with a regular ptt device and hopefully the tour

Apparently the PTT stuff isn't on MyVerizon yet? If so, I must be blind because I can't find where to add it to my account.

I'll probably just call them in a few hours.

Yep, got it added and installed. Guess it works, just need to find someone to test with or wait until my other buddies upgrade their crap!
