I have a blackberry pearl 8130 on the verizon network. Every now and then when i text my friend who is on the sprint network, both me and my friend will receive duplicate text messages from each other.

Does anyone else have this problem or know a fix?

I have had that happen to me I have a friend on metro pcs and I always get 2 at a time from her. She only gets one from me and I have no idea why.... I just don't text her anymore.

im on telus () and get this problem as well.
i donno how to fix it..i usally just delete it cuz its so infrequent.

I don't think this is necessarily carrier specific. This happens occasionally with my boyfriend who is on tmobile, and sometimes with my friend who is on att. Not sure why though..... Perhaps just a network issue..

I have at&t with my curve 8310 and have the exact same problem i hope someone smarter then me can come up with an answer soon its is some what annoying
