    Well,

I got my first 9630 Blackberry today w/ Bluegrass cellular. Unfortunately, where I live at there is no cell phone service with AT&T or Sprint. Verizon will not sell to me with a ported number from my current Bluegrass carrier and I didn't want to have a long distance number so, I continued my plan with bluegrass today.

The only bad thing is, they have a 4GB A Month Cap, How bad is that?

Is there an app I can download that will keep track for me?

Any first time user recommendations on setting up this BB?

I know having a capped BB is like driving a car w/ a flat tire but what else was I to do?

4GB on a BlackBerry is a big amount. You should not have a problem unless you plan to try to stream high resolution video 24/7 (and probably not even then) or tether your BlackBerry to a computer.

How about streaming radio like pandora or something.

I'm just concerned about going over.

Correction it is 3GB. Am I still OK?

While I don't stream radio, I think a number of folks do and probably still don't come close the "unlimited" of 5gb. So 4gb should still serve you well. You might ask a new thread about streaming radio and data usage.

It's 3GB sorry for the typo.

So for most internet browsing and some video streaming I should be ok?

Is there a way to download an app that will keep track of my data usage?

I have a 4GB memory card and I have a lot of pictures and ringtones on it; I have also recorded videos as well and I still have 3.6GB LEFT!! IMHO it's plenty of space.

I use Pandora, iHeart, Slacker, and Nobex all the time. I also watch YouTube, Sprint TV and use Tether(berrry). I came close to 3GB when I first got my Tour. But if you really are concerned about going over, you may find piece of mind by purchasing a memory card and just uploading a bunch of your favorite songs.

I wonder if your carrier may have a website you can use to check data useage. Sprint does and Comcast just launched one for my highspeed @ home.

Yes you can check data usage and they said they call you when you get close to your 3gb limit.

I wouldn't worry about your data usage. Since bluegrass is a local/regional carrier they'll be more forgiving if you do go pass.

Also I use Pandora driving home and to work and the most i've ever ran up on my BlackBerry is 2GB.

Also I have heard rumblings that Bluegrass may be changing their data plans in early April to be more forgiving. Over heard while I was at their store yesterday.

    Check it out.

Really ibegary? Sweeeet. I hope so.

I know they changed the unlimited package the 19.99/mo plan to 500MB that sucked donkey balls.

Keep me updated. BTW, Where are you located. I got mine in Radcliff.

Anyone know how big of memory card this will take and can it be a MicroSDHC?

16gb class 2 microSDHC cards are available on eBay for $20 from China or $30 from USA. $35 to $45 at your local big box stores or Amazon.com.
