Take anything from PDAdb with a grain of salt, quite often their information posted is incorrect. For example the have the screen resolution for the 9650 listed as 480 x 320, when it should be 480x360.
PDAdb is a joke I wouldn't go to their site for any information. No one will know what processor it has until it is released, or atleast close to the release anyways.
Dont know much of processors. But it seems to me that a newer device should get a processor that is as fast as the processor in the Bold 9700. I've always been loyal to RIM but it would be absurd for me to buy a phone that doesn't even have the best the RIM has to offer. Absurd. FYI. I'm using a storm 2 and cant wait to get rid of it. But will not buy a BOld 9650 if it's processor is not as good.
The real reason obviously why the processor hasn't been upgraded is there is probably a huge cost in development and implementation and would be a bad business decision in the long run.
Also it's possible that the chip they are using is a good trade-off between performance and battery life.
