just got a 16gb micro sdhc for my 9000, transfered all my stuff from my 8gb perfectly and can play all file off computer. but once i plugged it into my berry it said "A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors, would you like to repair it?" I select yes and it gives me the message "Media Card Repair Failed"

reformat on the computer and try putting back in the blackberry without any info. See if that works.

do a battery pull and try again. always insert your sd card while the device is off.

Hi guys

Recently got myself a Blackberry Curve 8520 and bought a Sandisk 8GB MicroSDHC card to go with it. Card works fine in pc and Blackberry Desktop Software allows me to transfer files (video and MP3) no problem

Run into issues when i unplug the phone from the PC as it tells me the card has errors and wont repair. Ive tried everything i can think of and nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?

Try backing up what's on the memory card on the computer..and then format the memory card with the computer and restore the backup

im hving a problem,when i insert my memory card on my bb 9780 it says that it needs to be repaired.when i click yes..it says repairing,please wait..n after few seconds it says media card repai failed..plz help me as i cannot risk loosing anything on my memory card..

Hi,
Could you please help me in resolving issues with blackberry media card error messages. I took the phone, with card reader to future shop(computer place) they could not retrieve my precious pictures, file in my card. Please help really stressed out now!!!!
