Then put it back in if it matters that much. I deleted that line with the quickness.
No idea why it wouldn't say that on your new 9700.
If you go to the BIS settings within your BB, you can modify the signatures for each email account right there. No need to be logging into your computer to do it.
Log into My T-Mobile website, if you have T-Mobile USA... then find the Email Setup... there is where you'll find each email address, you can edit the signature in there.

Another alternative is autotext. I say this because I do not like the way BIS puts the sig at the very end of long email chains instead of right after the last message. To use ato test, go into Options the Auto Text. Define one like Shannon (He) Sent by AT&T BlackBerry and make that equal whatever you like i.e. Arrived by carrier pigeon!!
Now write anything text (email, sms or a mms etc). When done with your message type signa and hit the space bar...
