Is there anyway that I can read someone's bbm to me but them not know that I read it? Not tryin to let someone know when I'm ignoring them

if the message is short enough, you can view it without clicking on it and see the message. if its longer, then you are out of luck. theres no way to stop the R's and D's.

dictoresno is right, that's how BBM works. But, if your reading their messages are you really ignoring them?

Under the bbm options, click save message history. When you highlight the contact's name, click the application (BB) button, then view history. You can read what they wrote without the 'd' next to the check mark turning into a 'r'
