so this colored message icon appeared today in the notification section under the clock and i'm assuming this is cause on the ebay app icon it has the red notification asterisk. i went into ebay and saw no notification or message. so what's the icon for?
the messages only show in the "messages" icon. if you're using separate inboxes (or a desktop Enterprise box) instead of the main messages icon, you won't see them. that is also the only way to clear the icon.
the option inside ebay for the update is unchecked. yea thats what it was, the main message folder. woulda looked into it but the message folder did not have the red asterisk tellin me it had a new message so i didnt bother lookin there
