Hey guys, I'm eligible for an upgrade this weekend. I have been an owner of the Blackberry Storm so I am definitely a Blackberry addict. However, I'm not up to date on the latest and best new Blackberries. I text A LOT so I definitely need a good messaging phone. Can anyone point me in the right direction of which Blackberry I should upgrade to?

I am biased as I love the 9700 Bold, which is the Bold 2. Hard to beat this phone IMO. If you like your Storm1, then should love the Storm2 as you probably like the touchscreen, which the 9700 don't have, but I am telling you texting is a breeze on this phone and has a lot of memory for apps if you like those. This is a powerful phone and again IMO is a much overall better phone than the Storm series. I hated the clickable screen on the Storm1, not sure if the 2nd one has that or not, but that drove me nuts.

My vote goes to the Bold 9000 for the best BB keyboard ever IMHO. I do lots of e-mail and bought this phone for that purpose.

The 9700 is another fine device with a slightly smaller keyboard.

Either one is a fine texting phone. Good luck.

I'd definitely go for the Storm2 or wait for the Bold (new tour) to come to Verizon. It's the same as the old tour, but with a trackpad, wifi, etc.

Tour or Storm2 both good phones, depends if you like touchscreen or not.

Tour or Storm 2 is my vote as well, but all of our votes are not as important as what you like the best, as none of us will be using your phone. Go to the store and play with them. Get the one you like best.

If you liked the S1 you'll love the S2...I came from a full qwerty keyboard to the touchscreen and at first wasn't sure of my decision. However, after a few weeks of use, I love the S2's surepress keyboard specifically in the landscape mode. I am a business owner and email a lot and love the S2...If you want to stay with a touchscreen, I wouldn't hesitate to grab an S2.

If you want to stay with VZ, I would recommend the Tour. The Curve has a low-resolution screen and will seem cheaply made to you coming from a Storm. However, try the Tour first becuase you might miss having a large screen.
