    I just upgraded my 8520 to my 9700 (bricked the other phone & used that as my excuse into getting a new bb instead of just fixing it). Last night appeared a strange status icon that is not the manual and u was wondering if anyone know what it meant. I did a battery pull and when the bb booted back up, there was a red crossed out circle at the top of my screen.

    Sounds like the app call blocker professional...as i have a small red circle with a cross through it...means that the app is active etc.

    If its not that then i dont know what it could be.

    I believe that is an App World notification for an update.

    Thanks! It's Call Blocker. I didn't see it on my other BB. That's why I didn't know what it was.
