I don't know if this is a 5.0 or 9700 issue, but this is just getting annoying.
My gf calls today, and suddenly her name shows up. She calls later and there is no name. What's the deal? Half the time I have to remember numbers just in case its the boss or someone.
The only time I've had no name show, that I've noticed, is when I have the password and content encryption turned on. Names display when unlocked, but when locked it only shows the number.

it has been happening to me too , it is really annoying , i upgraded to .442 yesterday and it seems ok till now , but havent received too many calls , will revert back if it happens again .

i will give this stuff a shot maybe it's this and thats why
I too have had that issue. sometimes the name comes up and at random times it will not come up. I checked and my encryption is disabled also so i am not sure why this is happening.
I've noticed that if I have 2 phone numbers attached to 1 person (a mobile, work #) ..... that if the person calls from their MOBILE phone... their name will show up... but if they call from their WORK phone .... it doesn't show.
