So I don't know if this has been brought up or answered, but since the discontinuing of the storm on Verizon's part, are we scheduled to see any further OS updates? Or are we SOL? Any wise ones out there that could enlighten me, because i've seen speculation, but that's it. Sorry in advance for the redundant post.
Rumor had it VZW was testing in the high 4xx maybe low 5xx for 9550 and 9530. Now that it is discontinued who knows. But, all things being equal VZW has been pretty good about supporting older devices and in fact pushing updates to the S1. I mean .148 was highest and best 4.7 build when they went official with it, and they gave the S1 the first official 5 build in .328 which was fairly solid (in the context of BB OS's). So I guess I am still hopeful for one last MR from big red. If not I'll take a good leak. Who wouldn't.

I know they were testing in the .5xx, but my thinking was that since the 9550 just got a leak I feel like the 9530 leak should have been released around the same time. My hope is that we continue to see OS leaks even after discontinuing because even the 8330s have had leaks since we got our last one...
RIM will probably keep working on the OS for a while, although the development won't be anything crazy - keep in mind they're still releasing updates for phones that are no longer being sold... the 9530 is still being sold by plenty of carriers
