Very excited as phone is scheduled for delivery today. I know its just a phone, but been looking to get this for a while.

Anyway, what should be first things to do when it arrives? Do I activate, then upgrade. Or does that not matter. I was planning on upgrading to .451.

+1 for the OS update...I also like the .428, I did upgrade to .151 but quickly rolled back

I seemed to have a speed dial issue with the .151 and a dimming bug when in landscape...I had neither with .428

What tweaks will help with the battery life. I tried a search all I could find was the change to 1XEV, BT and WiFi...any other tips

Sell it for an iPhone put it on eBay as soon as u get it. Lol kidding I love the s2 I'd say use it like u were your old berry and start tweaking the keyboard lay out and text input to your liking as well as other stuff

Upgrade OS, buy QuickLaunch, Meterberry, and either BerryWeather or SimoleWeather. Avoid AppWorld. Buy everything from the CB Mobihand store.

Spend a lot of time reading the forums here. Especially some of the older posts and the stickies at the top. A lot of issues that you may encounter have been discussed and mostly fixed here. Enjoy it and welcome to the club.
